Day 02: A book you've read more than three times
Ha! Um... Just one? If I keep a book in my collection, it's because I like it enough to reread it.
Margaret Atwood:
I've read The Handmaid's Tale, Oryx and Crake, Blind Assassin, and Alias Grace at least 5 times each. I try to read The Handmaid's Tale once a year.
Douglas Adams:
The HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy has been read so many times the book is falling apart. Literally.
Neil Gaiman:
I've destroyed two copies of American Gods to date. And lost another. Good Omens looks like it got into a bar fight and then was doused in holy water. It probably was at some point.
I could go on, but I think you get the point. I've been told that when I move, it's probably not feasible for me to bring my whole library with me. That makes me sad because it means I'll have to go through my collection and figure out what I can handle parting with. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.
